[Gaming] Kingdom Hearts III – Secret Video

So we all know that Kingdom Hearts II – Final Mix and KH Re:Chain of Memories came out just the other day. And like everything exciting, the secret ending video is already available on the internet. xD; Gotta love it.

I must say that it looks pretty intense and even darker than the second one. I believe the blue haired girl is rumoured to be named “Aqua” and the blonde haired, Roxas look-alike is named “Ken.” Again–these are just rumours. However, if her name really is Aqua, then it shows that she would have some connection to Kairi (meaning sea) and Namine ( meaning wave). She’s pretty cute! ^^

There are many theories as to who exactly everyone else is, so you can speculate for yourself. I can assure you though that the blonde haired boy is NOT Roxas. Nomura said that himself. These are new characters.

LAST ECLIPSE [dot] NET {open~}

Last Eclipse will basically be a fan collective of all the things I love. I plan to have many projects to keep myself busy (and not bored) online. Right now I am designing the layout for my personal part of the site.

Square has yet another baby—Haeresis.

So apparently, Square-Enix has released another name in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series—Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII.  Cheese and crackers! I sure hope they have enough material to go through four games with different names.  But I have faith in Square.  In the beginning of the Fabula Nova Crystallis project, Square let us know that all the XIII games would be in different worlds with different chracters, but they would be tied together with similar myths about the power of the Crystals.  Sound interesting?  I dig it.  

Considering that both FFXIII and FFVersusXIII will be on the PS3 and FFAgitoXIII will be on next gen mobile phones, the theory for Haeresis is that it will be for a handheld platform.  Folks right now are leaning towards PSP, but I think that it would totally rock to have it for Nintendo DS.  The idea isn’t too farfetched considering the DS’s popularity and the fact that they’ve released both FFIII and FFXII: Revenant Wings on the DS.  I will keep my fingers crossed as more information is released about this game.

The Fantasy that is anything BUT Final.

Fans are brewing in the steadily building excitement for the release of Final Fantasy XIII for the Playstation3. FFXIII will be the latest installment in the Final Fantasy series, and I believe it will be coming out sometime in 2008. However, this isn’t your typical game. Square-Enix will be utilizing the amazing capabilities of the PS3 to create a cinematic experience through gameplay. Imagine yourself playing as Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children! That’s more or less what Square is striving for in these future games.

But Square isn’t just making a new game, they created a whole new world and plot that can be seen in multiple points of view. The whole project is called “Fabula Nova Crystallis.” There is, of course, Final Fantasy XIII, whose main character is a woman (as far as we know) who wields a gunsword. Her identity is still unknown.

As well as Final Fantasy XIII, there will be an additional game called Final Fantasy Versus XIII. With both of the games, players will be able to experience the whole story of Fabula Nova Crystallis. The main character of Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a darker male character with bluish/grey hair and red eyes. From the jist of things, he seems to be the only heir to a remaining city. He wields a decent size sword (and perhaps multiple ones based on certain scans). FFVersusXIII seems to be a darker game while FFXIII is more “light.”

Finally, in addition to all that, Square has completed a version of FFXIII exclusively for cell phones. This game is called Final Fantasy Agito XIII. Agito means “to put into motion.” From the drawings and assumptions, it seems that this game will have a Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories feel to it. The main character in the center with the blonde hair has playing cards in his hand… and if you’ve played CoM, you know what that means. (Actually, the whole illustration screams Kingdom Hearts II style, but that’s just me.)

So it seems that Square has been keeping extremely busy… to say the least. @_@; These games are going to be huge.

 

Axel’s Hips Don’t Lie.

I know, I know it’s old news. 

But for those of you who are Kingdom Hearts II fans AND you have no idea what I’m talking about, you absolutely must see the classic Axel’s Hips Don’t Lie video.  Of course it features Shakira’s song and vocals, but, well, you just have to watch.

(And for clarification: NO, I DID NOT MAKE THIS!)  

The lip flaps are very close to the actual words of the song, and that’s one of the only reasons why it totally rocks.

So anyway, I haven’t been around. That’s okay though, because I’ve been busy totally pwning my college classes.  Oh yeah, baby! I got a 95% on one English essay and a 100% on my Psych paper.  Boo-friggin’-ya. I’d say that’s a major improvement from the last time I took these classes. ^_~

My Heart’s a Battleground~

Ah… Saturday.

The glorious day of chores and other assorted things that need to get done… like…ugh… laundry. I don’t know why my soul just does not desire to wash clothes. However, having my trusty little Shuffle has been a help in getting me through this rough time. Thank you again, Apple. And hey, by the way–grats on finally getting the rights to your own name. Now you can make millions on those Beatles songs you’ve been dying to put on iTunes. *thumbs up*

Speaking of tunes, for anyone who is a huge Kingdom Hearts I/II fan, (or if you just like Utada Hikaru–either one works) I uploaded Passion ~Neverending Story Mix~. Now you might think, “Oh great. It’s probably just like the ~after the battle~ version.” And you might just be half right, BUT! it’s better. Believe me, if you like epic, orchestral rock, you WILL enjoy this enhanced version of Passion. I know it’s a long download… but hey… it’s a neverending mix for cryin’ out loud. The actual song is just about 12 minutes long. Yeah… totally awesome right? I think so.
